Money always shows up exactly as needed, and exactly when needed. My work sustains me well always. And then there are the surprises: sales from the galleries when I had all but forgotten about that; unexpected tax refunds; overtime I worked not even thinking about the pay.

And yet, she trusted, she dared to spend and lavish us with gifts, necessities and luxurious vacations.
